A little more about myself... I have lived a charmed life. 28 years ago I began working on cruise ships. I lived & worked as a guest on most of the major lines, traveled to 2/3rds of the world and experienced all their splendors, spent time with the most interesting travelers and made the strongest of friendships.
My travels came to an abrupt end when I was diagnosed with Metastatic Stage 3 Breast Cancer. I share this very personal experience with you because I was side-lined for many years. My expenses increased dramatically and my income decreased significantly. I could no longer work due to dealing with chemo, radiation, numerous surgeries, hospital stays due to complications, side-effects from treatments & procedures, etc.
I was fortunate to have a cancer policy which helped a great deal, but my medical and living expenses put a major dent in my life savings. When I began filing claims to the cancer policy company, I learned about all the other insurance plans that could have protected me financially but had no knowledge about. That’s when I decided to get my health insurance license.
And, as they say, "the rest is history!"
